42 Petitions of Bucksport in its Parish Capacity for the appointment of Trustees to manage the ministerial fund of said town ect- - of Orland for a repeal of the law providing for the management of their Ministerial lands by Trustees ect - of Aaron Fellows & als to be set off from Chesterville to Fayette- were severally read & referred to the committee on the incorporation of parishes ect. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Stephen Hussey for leave to change his name, was read & referred to the committee on change of names.

Petition of Samuel Moore & al of Steuben that said town may be remunerated for certain sums paid as taxes over & above what was their due proportion ect - was read & referred to the committee on Finance.

Petition of Eli Sprague & als of Plan. No 7 east range of Binghams land to be incorporated into a town, was read & referred to the committee on the incorporation of towns. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of John Mahan & als to be incorporated as the Portland Glass Manufactures- was read & referred to the committee on Manufactures. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Frederic Spofford for a grant of lands ect was read & referred to the committee on State Lands. Sent up for concurrence.

Remonstrance of Heard Lord against the election of John G Deane and claiming to hold a seat from the class composed of Ellsworth & was read & referred to the committee on elections
