Agreeably to assignment the two branches met in convention when Daniel Wood, William Chadwick, Abraham Morrill & Daniel Merrill Counsellors elect, came in & took and subscribed the oaths and declarations required by the Constitution to qualify them to exercise the duties of their office.
Ordered that Messrs Quinnam of Wiscasset, Rawson of Waldoboro, & Pike of Bridgton be a committee to consider if any alteration be necessary in the present law providing for the return of votes for County Treasuers & to report by Bill or otherwise - read & passed.
