Forenoon: The Board came to order pursuant to adjournment

On motion by Mr. Williams Ordered, that tomorrow at ten oclock be assigned for the choice of a Chaplain of the Senate and that nomination lists be suspended.

[Message proposing a convention for supplying deficiencies of Senators]

On motion by Mr Scamman Ordered that a message be sent to the House of Representatives informing them that there is deficiency of one Senator in the County of Oxford: of one Senator in the County of Hancock: and of one Senator in the County of Somerset; that the Constitutional candidates for supplying the deficiency of a Senator in the County of Oxford are - Joseph Howard who had 530 votes and - Levi Hubbard - 448 votes The Constitutional Candidates for supplying the deficiency of a Senator in the County of Hancock are - John S. Kimball who had 556 voted and - Samuel M. Pond who had 357 votes and the constitutional candidates for supplying the deficiency of a Senator in the County of Somerset are William Allen Junr who had 786 votes and Obed Wilson - who had 702 votes and proposing a Convention of both branches of the Legislature, in the Representatives Chamber this afternoon, at half past three oclock for the purpose of supplying the said deficiencies in the manner prescribed by the Constitution and requesting the concurrence of the House
