The Board came to order pursuant to adjournment

[Notice to Counsellors elect.]

On motion by Mr Dunlap Ordered that the Secretary of State notify Daniel Wood, William Chadwick, Jonathan Thayer, Joel Wellington, John Balkam, Joseph Shaw and Joel Whitney Esquires that they have been elected by a joint Ballot of the two Houses of the Legislature in Convention Counsellors for the State of Maine to advise the Governor in the Executive part of the government for the current political year, and to request their immediate attendance, Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

[Notice to the Secretary of State]

On motion by Mr Southwick. Ordered that the Secretary of the Senate notify Amos Nichols Esquire that he has been duly elected Secretary of State by both Branches of the Legislature, sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred

["Bill to incorporate the General Hospital of Maine" taken from the files & referred.]

On motion by Mr. Dunlap Ordered that the "Bill to incorporate the General Hospital of Maine" referred from the last Legislature, be taken from the files of the Senate and laid upon the table & committed to Messrs Green and Churchill to be joined by the House. Sent down for concurrence came up concurred and Messrs Adams, Alden and Bridgham, were joined

The Governor's message was read from the chair and on motion of Mr. Williams two hundred copies were ordered to be printed for the use of the members of the Senate
