Bill to prevent the destruction of fish in Sebasticook River, came from the Senate referred to the next Legislature & ordered to be published for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Reports of the committee on the subject of authorizing towns to layout highways over tidewaters - on altering the fifth section of the act providing for this relief of the poor ect- that legislation is inexpedient on that subject, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.

Report on the petition of Shubael Narston. granting leave to withdraw, was read & accepted.

Bill an additional act to exempt certain goods & chattels from attachment & execution & from distress for taxes, was taken up, amended, & then on motion indefinitely postponed. Mr Nance gave notice, he should move a reconsideration of the last vote at ten oclock tomorrow.

Mr Burley has leave of absence until Saturday next.
