[Pet: Inhabitants of Waterford]

On motion of Mr. Steele, ordered that the petition of the inhabitants of Waterford with accompanying papers, be taken from the files and laid on the Table: Referred to the Joint Standing Committee on the Incorporation of Parishes &c. - sent down for concurrence: came up concurred. -

[Bills enacted]

Mr. Wilson from the Committee on engrossed Bills reported the following to be truly copied, viz. Bill to repeal an Act regulating the Fisheries in Waldoborough, and Bill to set of Samuel Davis with his estate from Harrington to Steuben. and they were passed to be enacted. Also:

[Resolves passed]

Resolve authorizing the Administrators Thomas Cutts deceased to convey certain real estate, and Resolve authorizing Barrret Potter to settle certain Probate business in York County, and they were severally passed.

[Message to the House for Papers]

On motion of Mr. Green, ordered that a Message be sent to the House requesting them to send up the papers relative to the division of Lincoln County; which was communicated, and the papers sent up. -

[Notice ordered of the election, and Qualification &c of Treasurer]

On motion of Mr. Bond, ordered that the Secretary of State notify the Governor that Joseph C. Boyd Esquire has been duly elected Treasurer of this State, that he has signified his acceptance and given bond to the State with sureties to the satisfaction of the Legislature. - sent
