On motion of Mr. Dunn, Ordered that the Bill granting a lottery for the benefit of the Cumberland and Oxford Canal, be taken from the files and laid on the table.

Bill making further provision for the preservation of Fish in Union River Bay and its waters, was read a second time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the House. -

[Bill to prevent costs in Crim: Prosecutions]

Bill to prevent the creation of unnecessary costs in criminal prosecutions, was read once and committed, and ordered that 200 copies be printed for the use of the Legislature; tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a second reading. - Read a second time and passed to be engrossed; sent down for concurrence. -
