The committee on Finance reported that it is necessary to raise the present year by way of State tax, forty nine thousand nine hundred & eight dollars and that a Bill providing for the assessment and collection of said sum apportioning the same on polls & estates in the manner of the last tax act, be be prepared & reported by the committee on finance- and the report was read & accepted.
