Duties -- maintain custody of the standards of weights and measures and of other standards and equipment; maintain records of the same; exercise supervision over sealers of weights and measures and over weights and measures offered for sale, sold or in use in the State. Additional information -- separate agent, 1839-1911. Commissioner of Agriculture served as State Sealer of Weights and Measures, 1911-1957.
