The Board came to order pursuant to adjournment

Petition of Josiah Towle for a grant of land or other relief for certain taxes by him paid referred in the House to Messrs Fessenden, Holt and Bent came up for concurrence was read and concurred, and Messrs Butman and Churchill were joined

Petition of David L. Burr and others for the incorporation of Litchfield Cotton Manufacturing Company, was read, and in concurrence with the House referred to the Committee on Manufactures

Petition of N. Thomas Junr. and others for a Lottery on grant of Land to enable them to build a Bridge over Mount Desert narrows, was read and in concurrence with the House referred to the Select Committee on Lotteries.

Petition of David Rodicks for liberty to build a fish weir, was read, and in concurrence with the House referred to the Committee on Interior Fisheries.

Petition of James Dyer Junr and others to be incorporated for the purpose of building a Bridge over Schoodiac River, was read and in concurrence with the House referred to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals.

Remonstrance of the Selectmen of Freeport against the petition of Samuel Chase and others was read, and in concurrence with the House referred to the Committee on Incorporation of Towns
