The Board came to order pursuant to adjournment

On motion by Mr. Dunlap, ordered, that the Committee on the judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of increasing the Salaries of the several Judges of Probate, in this State, with leave to report by Bill or otherwise. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

The petition of Amasa Taylor and accompanying papers were taken from the files and referred to the Committee on Incorporation of Towns. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred,

Bill to incorporate the Proprietors of Ten Mile Brook Canal, Bill for the relief of School Districts in Bucksport and Orland, Bill to incorporate the Journeyman Cordwainers Society - Bill for the relief of school Districts in Norridgewock and Mercer, Bill to set off Washington Remick from Kittery to Elliot Bill to establish the divisional line between Lisbon, Lewiston and Greene. and Resolve authorizing the conveyance of a Gun House and land in Fryeburg, were, severally read a first time and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a second reading, and in the mean time, the Resolve was committed to Messrs Howard, Butman and Kimball
