Mr. Prime from the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals, on the petition of Joseph Southwick and others, reported that the Petitioners have leave to bring in a Bill, Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

On motion by Mr. Prime Ordered that Messrs Prime and Southwick with such as the House may join be a committee for the purpose of taking into consideration the expediency of granting the consent of this state, for the erection of a Bridge by the United States to facilitate the intercourse between Kittery shore and the Navy Yard near Portsmouth, with leave to report by Bill or otherwise. Sent down for concurrence Came up concurred and Messrs Chase, Gilman and Woodman were joined.
