On motion by Mr. Stebbins, Ordered, that the Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions be instructed to inquire into the expediency of providing that the Governor of the State shall be ex-officio, a member of the "Board of Trustees of Bowdoin College," Sent down for concurrence Came up concurred.

Bill to incorporate the Proprietors of Eastern River Bridge came up from the House of Representatives and the Senate reconsider their former vote and passed the same to be engrossed in concurrence -
