Bill in addition to the Act incorporating China Academy, (reported by a special committee of this House) was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Resolve relating to the Kennebec Road, was read 1st & 2d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence appointing Messrs Green & Churchill with such as the House may join a committee to consider when it will be proper for the Legislature to hold two Sessions each day, & also when the Legislature may have a recess - and the House concurred & Messrs Boutelle of Waterville, Russell of North Yarmouth & Cummings of Paris were joined.

Ordered that Messrs Warren of Jackson, Fessenden of Portland & Bailey of Whitfield with such as the Senate may be a committee to consider the expediency of authorizing the several ordained Ministers of the Roman Catholic and Protestant Episcopal Churches settled in this State to solemnize marriages between those of their own respective denominations in any County in this State - read & passed.
