The committee to whom was referred the message of the Governor covering a report and resolves from the Legislature of South Carlolina made their report, which was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Ordered that Messrs, Cobb of Durham, Leach of Raymond & Smart of Prospect be a committee with such as the Senate may join to inquire, and report what sums ought to be altered to the Chaplains of the two branches of the Legislature as compensation for their services - read & passed.
