The Board came to order pursuant to adjournment

Bill to authorize a Canal at Cape Elizabeth was taken up and committed to Messrs Prime, Dunn and Howard

Resolve in favor of Valentine Cook and Resolve in favor of Ebenezer Dunlap came up from the House amended and the Senate reconsider their former vote, adopt the amendments proposed and pass the same to be engrossed as amended in concurrence,

Resolve in favor of Josiah Towle came up and the House propose a conference having appointed Messrs Longfellow, Hutchinson and Bent on their part, the Senate accept the proposition and appoint on their part Messrs Williams, Pond and Parsons,

Mr. Pond from the Committee on Bills in the second reading reported, in a new draft "Bill relating to Fish in the waters of East Machias and the same was read and passed to be engrossed as taken into the new draft. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

Mr. Stebbins from the Committee on the Judiciary on the petitions of the Inhabitants of Topsham and other towns praying for the establishment of a Registry of Deeds at Topsham in the County of Lincoln, reported that the Petitioners have leave to bring in a Bill, read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.
