Bills establishing the line between Litchfield & Hallowell - - to incorporate the Mozart Society were passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill in addition to the several acts now in force to organize, govern & discipline the Militia of this State - was called up - The House reconsidered their vote whereby they provided for only one Company training in each year & the question being taken by yeas & nays was decided as follows Yeas 76 Nays 50 Mr Fessenden then moved an amendment by striking out from A to B. which was rejected - He then moved a reconsideration of the vote rejecting his amendment and tomorrow at 10 oclock was assigned to consider the motion.

A message was received from the Senate informing this House, that they had voted to adjourn, when they do adjourn until half past nine oclock tomorrow morning.

Ordered that when this House adjourns, it adjourn until half past nine oclock tomorrow morning.

Petition of J. B. Osgood & als for a Bank at Fryburg, referred in Senate to the committee on Banks & Banking, came down for concurrence - and the House concurred.
