Met according to adjournment.

Bill to prevent Drunkenness, came from the Senate referred to the next Legislature for concurrence - The House amended the Bill and then referred it to the next Legislature & ordered it to be published in the Eastern Argus. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill in addition to an act to secure rent to lessors of house lots and Mill privileges, came from the Senate, that body insisting on their vote passing the same & The House vote to insist also upon their vote indefinitely postponing the Bill -

Resolve for the payment of Accounts against the State, with the roll accompanying the same, passed in the Senate, came down for concurrence - The amended the same as in a new draft & passed it to be engrossed as thus amended. Sent up for concurrence

The Conferees on the part of this House having met the Conferees on the part of the Senate on the subject of difference between the two Houses on the Bill, entitled an act in addition to the several acts now in force to organize, govern & discipline the Militia of this State, and having conferred freely with the Conferees on the part of the Senate upon the subject, reported That the House still adhere to their vote passing the Bill to be engrossed with amendments - report accepted - and the papers endorsed and sent up.

The Committee to whom was referred an order directing them to consider what alterations are necessary in the Probate laws, reported that the subject be referred to the next Legislature. The report accepted in Senate came down for concurrence - and the House concurred.
