The Board came to order pursuant to adjournment

Bill to encourage Steam Navigation in this State was read a first time and tomorrow, at 10 oclock assigned for a second reading.

Mr. Holland, from the Committee, reported Bill to incorporate the Kennebec and Androscoggin Canal Association, with amendments and the same was read a second time and passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent down for concurrence.

Bill additional to exempt certain goods and Chattels from attachment, Execution and from districts for taxes was taken up and committed to Messrs Williams, Pond and Butman,

Mr. Williams from the Committee reported the Bill to incorporate the Bank of Kennebunk" with amendments, and the same was further amended by changing the title of the Bill to "An act to incorporate the President, Directors and Company of the Agamenticus Bank, read a second time and passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent down for concurrence,

Bill to establish a Registry of Deeds at Topsham was read a first time and tomorrow, at 10 oclock assigned for a second reading.

Resolve providing compensation for certain officers of the Legislature, was read a second time and passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent down for concurrence
