Mr. Stebbins, from the Committee to whom was referred the Bill authorizing a Lottery for improving the Navigation of the Kennebec River reported the same in a new draft, by the title of "An Act to establish certain Lotteries therein named" which was read and passed to be re-engrossed as taken into the new draft and a message was sent to the House requesting their concurrence,

Agreeably to assignment the Senate proceeded to ballot for the choice of a Major General of the fourth Division, The Committee reported that the whole number of votes given was 13 Necessary to constitute and election 7 Richard T. Dunlap had 10 Robert P. Dunlap 2 Ebenezer Thatcher 1 and Richard T Dunalp was then declared elected in concurrence with the House and the same was communicated by message
