Mr. Emery from the Committee on Banks +c, on the petition of James Stackpole and others reported Bill authorizing the reduction of the capital stock of the Waterville Bank and the same was read once and Tuesday 10 o clock assigned for a second reading. [right]

Petition of John Ruggles and others for incorporation of a fire insurance Company came up referred to the Committee on the Judiciary and the Senate nonconcurred the House in their reference and referred the same to the Committee on Banks and Banking. Sent down for concurrence. conc [right]

Order of the House of Representatives, that the Committee on the Judiciary be directed to inquire into the expediency of enacting any additional Laws to prevent petty larceny + the buying stolen goods with leave to report by bill or otherwise. [right]
