Thursday February 21st, 1828

[left] Bill concerning County roads Mr. Williams from the Committee reported Bill concerning County roads, and recommended the reference of the same to the next Legislature and the Bill was referred accordingly. Sent down for concurrence,

[left] Resolve respecting high way taxes The Committee also reported Resolve respecting highway taxes and the same was read and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

[left] Bill poor in this State Bill to ascertain the number, condition and annual expense of the poor in this state, was read a second time and passage refused. Sent down for concurrence.

[left[ Resolve in favor of several towns County of York Mr. Dennett agreeably to notice given, moved the reconsideration of the vote of yesterday refusing a passage to the Resolve in favor of several towns in the County of York, and the motion prevailed. The Resolve then on motion referred to the next Legislature. Sent down for concurrence. concurred.
