Resolve providing for the promulgation of the laws of the State came down amended in Senate at A for concurrence, and the House so far reconsidered their former vote as to concur with the Senate in said amendment/

A communication was received from Elias Thomas, Treasurer of State elect, signifying his acceptance of that office.

Report on the petitions of the Inhabitants of Thompson Pond plantation - of Samuel Taylor & al - granting leave for Bills, came down accepted in Senate for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Report on the petition of Martin Bailey, referring the same to the next Legislature, came down accepted in Senate for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Resolve in favor of Thomas H.. Norcross, was taken up and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Petition of John Richards for leave to change his name was read & referred to the committee on change of names.

Petition of the Trustees of Limerick Academy for aid, was read and referred to Messrs. Sanburn of Limerick, Hunt of Avon & Latham of Gray.

Petition of William Sanborne & als for authority to erect a toll Bridge & al over Piscataqua River also Remonstrance of Thomas Heald & als agst the erection of Toll Bridge over the Kennebec River above Weston's ferry & of the Directors of Norridgewock Falls Bridge upon same subject were severally read & referred to the committee of Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals. Sent up for concurrence.
