The House resumed the consideration of the Resolve for the benefit of Waterville College which was before the House at the time of the adjournment yesterday. The question being "Shall the Resolve pass to be engrossed - After much discussion the question was taken by yeas & Nays and decided in the negatives as follows Yeas 60 Nays 67 [see appendix page 283.]
And then the House adjourned.
