A message was, received from the Senate to inform the House that the Senate have organized by the election of Joshua Hall President: Edward Kavanagh Secretary, and Samuel G Ladd Secretary pro tem.

Adjourned until afternoon.

Afternoon - Met according to adjournment:

An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing that all messages between the two Houses of the Legislature be transmitted by the Secretary of the Senate, and Clerk of the House of Representatives respectively, and that all papers be transmitted by them of their assistants - and the House concurred.
