[Report on Petition] Report of the Committee on the Petition of Richard Edgarly and others, was recommitted to the Committee on Towns. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.
[Message] The Secretary of State came in and laid on the table a written message from the Governor to the two Branches of the Legislature.
[Bill read once] Bill to provide for the sale and disposition of Ministerial and School lands, was read and referred to the Committee on Bills in the second Reading, and tomorrow at 9 Oclock assigned for a further consideration of the same.
[Returns of Banks] Agreeably to an order of yesterday the Secretary of State transmitted to the Senate, the Returns of the several Banks in this State, which were referred to the Committee on Banks and Banking. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.
[Bill passed to be engrossed] Bill to annex certain lands of Enoch A. Glidden to the town of Alna, was read a 2nd time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the House.
[Bill taken from files] Bill in addition to an act to divide the town of North Yarmouth, and incorporate the westerly part thereof into a town by the name of Cumberland, was taken from the files, and referred to the Committee on New Trials. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.
[Report on the Augusta Deed] Report of the Committee relative to a Deed from the Inhabitants of Augusta, was taken up and postponed to tomorrow at 9 Oclock.
