Met according to adjournment.

Bill – additional to the act to alter the law establishing Bowdoin College – was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill – to incorporate the Bank of Kennebunk, was read 1st & 2d time amended in its title so as to read “York County Bank”, and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading and referred to Messrs Clark of Hallowell, Mitchell of North Yarmouth & Longfellow of Portland.

Bill – authorizing a Canal in Cape Elizabeth, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill – imposing a duty on sales at Auction – was read once and ordered to lie on the table, and 300 copies to be printed for the use of the Legislature.

Petition of the Selectmen of Prospect for a new County west of Penobscot river - also Remonstrance of Chase Robinson Junr & als of Palermo agst the same, were severally read & ordered to be placed with the other papers before the Legislature on the same subject.

Mr Johnson had leave at this time to call up his motion made on the 16th inst. for a reconsideration of the vote whereby on that day the House refused to pass to be engrossed the Bill – establishing the County of Waldo – and the House reconsidered said vote, and after a long discussion of the subject the House passed the Bill to be engrossed. 60 pro 38 con. Sent up for concurrence.
