Ordered that the hours of meeting of this House be nine oclock in the morning and half past two oclock in the afternoon.

A letter was received from the Secretary of State transmitting the returns made to his office by the Selectmen of the several towns and Assessors of the several plantations in this State of the number of School Districts &c - which was referred in concurrence with the Senate to the Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions.

Bill - further regulating the admission of Attornies, was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

The committee on the Judiciary reported the following Bill & the report was accepted.

Bill - to prevent resistance to legal process, was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading & 300 copies ordered to be printed for the use of the members.

Bill - additional to the act authorizing a Lottery for the benefit of the Cumberland & Oxford Canal Corporation, reported with an amendment which was rejected, was read a 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill - to set off Benjamin Woodbury & others from Buckfield to Paris" came from the Senate, that branch having voted to adhere to their vote of the 7th inst passing the same to be engrossed. The House reconsidered their former votes on this Bill so far as to refer the same to the consideration of the next Legislature. Sent up for concurrence.
