Bill to incorporate the Sebago & Long Pond Steam Boat Navigation Company, was taken up & considered & ordered to lie on the table.

The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Bill - in addition to an act to incorporate the President, Directors and Company of the Vassalboro Bank -

- to incorporate the Maine Congregational Charitable Society - 
- an additional act to establish the Cumberland & Oxford Canal Corporation
- limiting the tenure of the office of the Adjutant General
- in addition to the several acts for the regulation of Inholders Retailers & Common Victuallers - 
- to incorporate the Ellsworth Mutual Fire Insurance Company 
- to incorporate the Somerset Mutual Fire Insurance Company

which were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

On motion of Mr. Vance of Barington, Ordered that Messrs. Clark of Limington Vance of Baring & Kidder of Bloomfield be a committee to consider the expediency of passing a law to prevent the destruction of Moose & Deer, in the forests of this State - read & passed.
