Bill an additional act establishing the times of holding the Supreme Judicial Court, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill regulating the appointment of Houses of Correction, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

The committee on the Judiciary reported in a new draft Bill. an additional act providing for the government of the State Prison & for the punishment of convicts - and 300 copies were ordered to be printed for the use of the Legislature.

Bill authorizing a Lottery for the benefit of the Damariscotta Canal Corporation, was read a third time & recommitted to the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Portland Rifle Cadets, came down recommitted to the committee on Militia & Military affairs for concurrence. - and the House concurred.
