Bill to authorize the town of Bangor to regulate the harbour in that town, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill - additional to an act for keeping watches & wards in towns & for preventing disorders in Streets & public places was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill. to incorporate the Winthrop Agricultural Society was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill. incorporating the Master, Wardens & brethren of Fraternal Lodge, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill. to incorporate the Kennebec Leather Manufactory was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

The Committee of the Judiciary on the order

of 16th inst directing them to inquire into the expediency of amending the law relating to bail in civil cases & imprisonment on mesne process, that legislation on the subject is inexpedient, was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve in favor of George Littlefield was read once & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 2d reading.
