& Messengers of both Houses, the assistant Clerk of the House refused to concur.

Ordered that the Committee on Finance be directed to assess on the town of Lincoln in the County of Penobscot the sum of six dollars in the State Tax of the present year - read & passed.

Bill to apportion & assess on the inhabitants of this State a tax, of forty nine thousand, nine hundred & ninety four dollars, was taken up, and further amended & then passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence

Resolve in favor of Nathaniel Spinger came from the Senate referred to the next Legislature for concurrence, and the House receded from their former vote & concurred with the Senate.

Bill in further addition to an act to organize, govern & discipline the Militia of this State, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill making further provision concerning records of Justices of the Peace, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate
