Afternoon - Met according to adjournment.

Ordered that the Clerk be required to procure three hundred copies of the Governors Speech this day delivered to the Legislature in Convention, to be printed for the use of the members of the House of Representatives.

The Committee on the subject of reporting a system of Rules & Orders, made a report in writing which was read and accepted, and thereupon it was ordered, that the Clerk cause to be printed three hundred copies of the Rules and Orders of this House, together with a list of the several [crossed out]Com Standing Committees, and of the Members of the House, with the number of the seats they respectively occupy.

A message was received from the Senate by Mr Hutchinson their Secretary, informing the House that there is one vacancy at the Senate Board from the district of Washington - that Thomas Vose who had 399 votes & John Balkham who had 341 votes are the Constitutional Candidates for filling the same & proposing a convention of the two houses of the Legislature at 11 oclock tomorrow forenoon for the purpose of filling said vacancy - the House concurred in the proposition for a convention and the Clerk was requested to acquaint the Senate therewith.
