Bill to establish the Kennebec and Androscoggin Canal Association, was called up, and the previous question called for, and the same was taken by yeas and nays as follows: yeas 50. nays 26 [See appendix page 320] Immediately on motion of Mr Clark of Hallowell the last vote was reconsidered - and then the Bill was passed to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill granting a Lottery to encourage Steam Navigation in this State, was read a third time & passage refused.

Mr Fessenden of Portland moved a reconsideration of the last vote and Monday next at 3 oclock was assigned to consider the motion.

Bill to incorporate the Kennebunkport Distillery Company was read once and the the House,
