[1824 January 23.] referred to the same Committee in concurrence with the House.

[Petition referred] Petition of Charles Whitman and others of Waterford for the removal of obstructions to the free passage of fish up crooked river; and

[Remonstrance] Remonstrance of the town of Warren respecting fisheries in St. Georges river, committed in the House to the Committee on fisheries, came up for concurrence and were read and concurred.

[Petitions referred] The following Petitions and Remonstrances committed in the House to the Committee on Turnpikes &c came up for concurrence, viz : Petition of Henry Babb for exclusive privilege of navigating Sabago Pond with Steam Vessels &c. Petition of Gilead for assistance to build a Bridge over Wild River ;

[Remonstrances] Remonstrance of Simon Emery and others against the Petition of Thomas Haven and others; Remonstrance of Elliot Frost and others against the Petition of Thomas Haven and others ; and Remonstrance of Hugh Paul and others against the Petition of Thomas Haven & others, and they were severally referred to the same committee in concurrence with the House.

[Petitions referred] Petition of Eliashib Adams and others for a Bank at Bangor; and Petition of Thomas Fillebrown and others for a Bank at Winthrop; committed in the House to the Committee on Banks and Banking. Came up for concurrence, was read and concurred.
