Portland, May 3. 1821.

Be it known, That agreeably to the provisions of an Act of the Legislature of this State, passed on the nineteenth day of March, 1821, entitled, “An Act to alter the Law establishing Bowdoin College,” Josiah W. Seaver Esquire, of South Berwick, was, by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Council, duly appointed a Member of the Board of Overseers of Bowdoin College; and, that he is entitled to all the rights, privileges and immunities of a member of that Board.
