Reports on the petitions of Bartholomew B. Boies Daniel Merrill & al referring the same to the next Legislature, were severally read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing the committee on Militia & Military affairs, to inquire into the expediency of authorizing any two members of a Court Martial to hold a Court - and the House concurred.

To the Senate & House of Representatives

I transmit for the consideration of the Legislature, a communication from the Chairman of the Committee appointed by the Resolve of the third of March entitled "Resolve appointing Commissioners to settle with certain Land agents.

Council Chamber Jonathan G. Hunton February 24th 1830 Read & referred in concurrence with the Senate to the committee on State Lands.

Bill to incorporate the Freeport Fishing Company, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 11 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill establishing the town line between Bristol & Bremen, was read a second time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Resolve directing the Land Agent to enquire into & report upon the expediency of granting aid for making a road in Penobscot County was read once & tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a 2d reading.
