The committee on engrossed Bills reported as duly engrossed Resolve in favor of the Massachusetts Medical Society, which was finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of William P Preble in behalf of Bowdoin College for aid in the erection of a Commons Hall, came from the Senate referred to the committee on Literature &c for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Petition of Isaac Ilsley that Little Mark Island, or rather the jurisdiction thereof may be ceded to the United States, was read & referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence

Petition of David H Patterson & als to be incorporated with powers to erect a Bridge across Kennebec River from Anson to Madison, was read & referred to the committee on Turnpikes Bridges & Canals. Sent up for concurrence

Petition of Thompson pond plantation that a part of said plantation may be annexed to Otisfield and a part to Poland, was read & referred to the committee on the incorporation of Parishes &c Sent up for concurrence.
