Bill - to prevent the destruction of fish in Sebasticook River, came from the Senate referred to the next Legislature & ordered to be published - for concurrence - and the House concurred.
Reports of the committee on the subject of authorizing towns to lay out highways over tidewaters - also - on altering the fifth section of the act providing for the relief of the poor &c- that legislation is inexpedient on that subject, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.
Report on the petition of Shubael Marston. granting leave to withdraw, was read & accepted.
Bill - an additional Act to exempt certain goods & chattels from attachment & execution & from distress for taxes, was taken up, amended, & then on motion indefinitely postponed. Mr Vance gave notice, he should move a reconsideration of the last vote at ten oclock tomorrow.
Mr Burley has leave of absence until Saturday next.
