The Senate met according to adjournment.

Mr Dunlap, from the Committee of Conference on the part of the Senate, on the subject of the disagreement of the two Houses in relation to the Bill entitled "an act to ascertain the number and description of Persons within this State," made a report which was accepted. Thereupon the Senate receded from their vote whereby they passed said Bill to be Engrossed and concurred House in referring the same to the next Legislature. Sent down.
[Resolve in favor of the Maine Wesleyan Seminary]
Concurred, The same gentleman, from the Committee on conference on the part of the Senate, on the subject of the disagreement of the two Houses in relation to the Resolve entitled "Resolve in favor of the Maine Wesleyan Seminary," made a report which was accepted. Thereupon the Senate adhere to their former vote whereby they passed the same to be Engrossed. The House also adhere to their former vote and the said Resolve was rejected, by reason of said disagreement.
