Report on the petition of Jacob Prince, referring the same to the next Legislature, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.

Bill relating to the appointment of Road Commissioners. came from the Senate, that body adhering to their vote passing the Bill to be engrossed as taken into this new draft, proposing a conference & appoint as Conferees on their part Mess Dennet & Washburne & Cutler - The House accede to the proposition & appoint as Conferees on their part Messrs Russell of Temple, Robbins of Union & Scamman of Pittston

Resolve relating to the bounddry [boundary] line between Maine and New Hampshire, was read & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

The committee on the Pay Roll of the House made a partial report of the Travel of the several members of the House, and the report was accepted.

Mr Deane of Ellsworth has leave of absence after today during the remainder of the session.

The committee on engrossed bills reported as duly engrossed, Resolve respecting Highway Taxes - which was finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve in favor of Charles S Daveis, reported in a new draft, which was adopted, was read a second time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - concerning Sheriffs, was taken up and the House receded from their amendment proposed on the 21st inst, & concurd with the Senate in passing the same to lie engrossed as in new draft.
