[Committee on Militia discharged] Mr. Hilton from the Committee on Militia to whom was referred that part of the Governor's Speech and accompanying Documents relating to the Militia, reported for reasons set forth that the Committee be discharged from the further consideration of the subject. R & accepted. s.d.f.c. conc.

[Resolves engrossed] Mr. French from the Committee on Engrossed Bills reported the following to be truly copied viz Resolve additional for opening and clearing a road from the South line of township No.2 old Indian Purchase on the east side of Penobscot River to Mattanawcook Stream " additional in favor of Joel Wellington & Samuel Whitney " authorizing the Governor to cause a Gun house to be erected in Farmington " for the relief of Charles Hogan, Benjamin Jones and John Foster " in favor of Zadoc Bishop and Eighteen others and Resolve laying a tax on the several Counties in this State and the same were finally passed.
