On motion of Mr Williams of Augusta

  Ordered that the Senate be regulated to take from their files and send to the House the report of the Commissioners appointed to examine the several Banks in this State referred to in the Governors Message

On motion of Mr Gibson of Denmark

  Ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of amending an act to provide for the sale and distribution of ministerial and school funds passed Feb 12th 1827

An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing the Secretary of State to call on those assessors of towns and plantations who have neglected to transmit to his office true and attested copies of the inventories and valuations from which the assessors of said towns and plantations made their taxes for the year 1829 and the House concurred

On motion of Mr Folsom of Eastport

   Ordered that the Senate be requested to take from their files and send to this House the Petition of E Richardson and others for a new bridge at Eastport

Report of joint select Committee who were directed to engage some suitable person to draft Bills and Resolves during the present session of the Legislature that they had engaged Freeman Bradford of Portland to perform that duty came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred
