9 respectively & that all papers be transmitted by them or by their assistants - and the House concurred.

On motion by Mr. White of Monmouth, Ordered that a Committee be appointed to agree with some suitable person to perform the duties of an Assistant Clerk during the present session of the Legislature & Messrs. White of Monmouth, Herrick of Lewiston & Bartlett of Garland were appointed that committee.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence appointing Meqquier, Gardner & Davee with such as the House may join a committee to examine the votes for Governor & make report of the same to the House - concurred & Messrs. Cole of Paris, Robinson of Vassalboro, Hilton of Wiscasset, Smith of Portland and Perkins of Kennebunkport were joined sent up.

And the House adjourned.
