[Rules & orders of last year adopted] On motion by Mr Emerson the Rules and Orders of the last session were adopted for the government of the present with the exception of the provision relating to yeas and nays until others are formed and adopted
[Returns of votes for Senators laid on table by Secretary of State] The Secretary of State came in and laid on the table the Returns of votes given in the several towns and plantations in this State for Senators and the same were referred to Messrs Kingsbury, Usher
