92 Ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of altering the law exempting certain goods & chattels Execution & distress sent up for concurrence. An order came from the Senate for concurrence appointing Messrs. Sweat, Dole & Megquier with such as the House may join a Committee to consider whether or not a law ought to be passed making valid the Acts & resolves of the last Legislature with leave to report by Bill or otherwise - and the House concurred & Messrs. Knowlton of Montville, Parks of Bangor, Gray of Bowdoinham, Lord of Gardiner & Dagget of New Vineyard were joined on the part of the House. Bill to set off Nathaniel Malbone from Cornville to Milburne was read a 3rd time & tomorrow at 11 o'clock was assigned for a 3rd reading. Bill to set off Adam Weed from Thorndike to Knox was read a 3rd time & passed to be engrossed as amended on sheet annexed marked A - sent up for concurrence. Bill - additional to an act passed March 6, 1802 entitled an Act to regulate the shad & alewive fishery in the town of Warren in the County of Lincoln was read a 3rd time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate. Bill - to incorporate the First Roman Catholic Society in the town of Hope was read a 3rd time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence. Bill - to change the name of the Bangor Literary Club was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 11 o'clock assigned for a 3rd reading.
