The Committee on engrossed bills reported as duly engrossed, Bill - An additional act respecting Ferry Point Bridge - - for the preservation of the Beeches & Salt Marshes in the towns of Wells - - additional act relating to the Inspection of Mackarel - - to incorporate the Trustees of the Mariners Church in Portland - - to incorporate the Penobscot Steam Boat Navigation Company - which were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - establishing the County of Waldo, was called up, and after adopting several amendments thereto, the Bill was read a 3rd time & passed to be engrossed as amended - the question was taken by yeas & nays and decided as follows, Yeas 78 - Nays 55. [See appendix page 234] Sent up for concurrence.

Report on the petition of Charles Hayden & als granting an order of Notice, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence & the House concurred.
