Mr. Ripley from the committee on engrossed Bills, reported the following to be truly copied, viz. - Bill to incorporate the proprietors of Canton Point Bridge,” Bill to incorporate the proprietors of the Kennebunk Port Livery Stable,” Bill in addition to an Act to incorporate the proprietors of the Free Meeting House in Georgetown,” and Bill for the preservation of Fish in Piscataqua River,” And they were passed to be enacted. -

Resolve in favor of John Perry,”

Resolve authorizing the Land Agent to convey certain lands to Phillip Page &als.” and Resolve authorizing the Inhabitants of Durham to prosecute a review,” And they were severally passed. -

Bill to prevent Drunkenness,” and

Bill in addition to an Act establishing the Salaries of Judges of Probate,” were taken up, and postponed indefinitely. -

[Resolve]

Resolve laying a tax on the several Counties,” was read a 2d. time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the House. -

Mr. Churchill from the committee, on the subject of authorizing ordained Ministers of the Roman Catholic and Protestant Episcopal Churches, to solemnize Marriages &c., reported that it is inexpedient to legislate on this subject: Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence: came up concurred. -
