101 Monday January 28th 1828 [Rem of E Staples & al]

[order - logs masts spars &c in Schoodiac & St Croix Rivers] Order of the House of Representatives appointing Messrs Vance Deane and Sumner with such as the Senate may join to inquire if any and what provisions are necessary & expedient to secure to owners their property in Logs masts or other timber in the Schoodiac and St Crox Rivers and report by bill or otherwise was read and Messrs Balham and miller were joined

[Bill Litchfield to Wales] Bill additional to set off Isiah Jenkins and others from Litchfield to Wales and

[Bill - Winthrop Bank] Bill revoking the Charter of Winthrop Bank came up amended for concurrence and the Senate concurred


[Bill Pro Commercial Hall] Bill to incorporate the proprietors of Commercial Hall was read once ordered to a second reading again read and passed to be engrossed in concurrence

[Resolve in favor of M M Society] Resolve in favor of the Massachusetts Medical Society came up amended for concurrence and the Senate adhere to their former vote passing the resolve to be engrossed sent down

[Resolve for the benefit of Waterville College] Mr Cushman from the Committee on Literature &c on the petition of the trustees of waterville college reported Resolve for the benefit of Waterville College and the same was read once and tomorrow 10 0 clock assigned for a second reading [Message from Governor - line between M & N.H.] The Secretary of State came in and laid upon the table a written message from the Governor accompanied by a Report of the Commissioners on the boundary line between this State and New Hampshire and the same were read and referred
