253 Bill to establish the Hancock Ferry Company was read first and second time and tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a third reading. On motion of Mr. Wells of Freeport, Ordered that the Committee on Accounts be directed to allow to Treasures of Towns Commissions on the expenditures made for bounty on Crows - sent up for concurrence. Bill to incorporate the York Manufacturing Company was read a third time and passed to be engrossed as taken into a new draft. Bill to incorporate Carlow's Island Bridge at Eastport came from the Senate passed to be engrossed as amended on sheet annexed marked B and the House adopted the amendment proposed by the Senate - and the same was read a third time and passed to be engrossed as further engrossed as further amended on sheet annexed marked F. Sent up for concurrence.

Report of Petition of Rufus Chase granting leave to withdraw was read and accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve authorizing the Governor and Council to pay the Warden of the State Prison the Salary of the subordinate officers was read a first time and tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a second reading.
